Inside AdriaRadar

From information to intelligence.

AdriaRadar looks beyond the tourism headline to identify developments that could matter commercially — then turns them into concise, evidence-based signals.

Not every development is a signal.

A new flight, hotel, tourism experience, investment or market change may be interesting. The AdriaRadar approach is to ask a further question: why might this matter, to whom, and what should we watch next?

The method

Five steps from fragmented information to a useful decision.

01 / FIND

Find the change

Identify developments across tourism, travel, investment, connectivity, markets and destination products.

02 / VERIFY

Test the evidence

Compare sources and establish what is known, announced or still uncertain.

03 / STRUCTURE

Reduce the noise

Distil fragmented information into the development that actually deserves attention.

04 / INTERPRET

Add context

Consider markets, geography, timing and the potential commercial relevance.

05 / WATCH

Follow the evidence

Identify what would confirm whether the opportunity or risk is developing.

Worked example

What a signal looks like in practice

DEVELOPMENT

Air Canada announced a new seasonal nonstop Montréal–Dubrovnik service beginning in May 2027.

EVIDENCE

The announced service is scheduled three times weekly from 11 May through late October 2027, using Boeing 787 aircraft.

CONTEXT

A new direct connection changes access from a specific North American market and operates across more than five months, including parts of the traditional shoulder season.

COMMERCIAL QUESTION

Will the additional connectivity generate incremental demand — and can Croatian tourism businesses turn that access into bookable products?

WHAT ADRIARADAR WATCHES NEXT

Canadian tour programmes, fares and capacity, booking patterns, destination uptake and whether operators develop products aimed at the Canadian market.

The difference is the interpretation. AdriaRadar is not simply reporting that a flight has been announced. The objective is to identify the commercial question that follows from the development.

What this means

The signal is only the beginning.

Over time, individual signals can be connected to reveal wider patterns.

  • Is new connectivity opening a meaningful source market?
  • Are new tourism products helping extend the season?
  • Is investment moving beyond the traditional coastal offer?
  • Are destination organisations developing new visitor motives?
  • Are apparently separate developments pointing in the same direction?
